About Mathijs

Mathijs Vissers (1989) is a Dutch artist working in both digital and traditional media. The crossroads of those two fields is where his curiosity finds space to explore. He is interested in the effect of technology on mankind, how it changes us. Each and every development is a step forward, but also changes us as human beings. Through his work, Mathijs researches these effects in the broadest of terms. His work can best be described as layered and colorful. His approach to creation results in playful pieces where the viewer continually discovers new things.
